Join Our Operations Team: Cabin Crew Duty Coordinator in Cairo!

Air Arabia is seeking a detail-oriented and resilient professional to join our Cairo base as a Cabin Crew Duty Coordinator. If you thrive in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment and have a passion for keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, this role offers you the chance to be the backbone of our cabin crew operations. You'll ensure our teams are prepared, compliant, and ready to deliver the safe, reliable service our passengers expect.

    Your Role: The Operational Anchor

As our Duty Coordinator, you're the central link between cabin crew and the broader operations team. Working on rotational shifts, you'll monitor every detail—from crew punctuality and documentation to real-time coverage during delays or absences. When irregularities occur, you're the calm, solution-focused presence who steps in, coordinating with Flight Operations, Crew Control, and Airport teams to keep flights on track. This role is both administrative and dynamic; you'll maintain accurate records by day and make swift operational decisions by night, all while upholding Air Arabia's high standards.

    What You'll Do Daily?

    • Monitor & Verify: Conduct pre- and post-flight spot checks during crew briefings, confirming attendance, valid documentation, uniform compliance, and adherence to safety procedures.
    • Coordinate in Real Time: Liaise with OCC and Crew Control to manage crew replacements, activate standbys, and resolve shortages caused by sickness or irregular operations.
    • Be the Point of Contact: Serve as the go-to person for cabin crew during your shift, providing operational support and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
    • Resolve Issues Collaboratively: Work alongside Flight Deck, Airport Operations, and Customer Service teams to address passenger-related concerns both on board and on the ground.
    • Document Everything: Maintain meticulous daily records of attendance, sick leave, standby usage, and flight coverage. Prepare shift handover notes and incident reports with clarity and accuracy.
    • Support Compliance: Assist with internal and external audits by ensuring all operational logs and records are complete, organized, and readily available.
    • Guide New Crew Members: Help onboard new cabin crew by offering operational guidance and mentorship during their initial line operations.
    • Communicate Clearly: Escalate safety, service, or operational concerns promptly, ensuring the right people are informed at the right time.

    Who We're Looking For?

We need someone who combines operational know-how with a calm, accountable approach. To succeed, you should bring:

    • Education: A diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
    • Experience: 2–4 years in airline operations, cabin crew coordination, crew control, or a similar support role. Experience handling irregular operations and making real-time decisions is a strong advantage.
    • Operational Knowledge: A solid understanding of airline operations, cabin crew processes, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency with airline crew management systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). You should be comfortable extracting, interpreting, and reporting operational data.
    • Communication: Strong written and verbal skills for clear operational and incident reporting.
    • Personal Qualities: Professionalism, integrity, resilience, and a sharp eye for detail. You remain composed under pressure, prioritize competing demands effectively, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
    • Flexibility: Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, public holidays, and be on-call as needed. Travel may be required for operational or training purposes.
