A Role Where Every Minute Counts: Turnaround Coordinator
At Jazeera Airways, we know that efficient turnarounds are the heartbeat of our operations. We're looking for an experienced Turnaround Coordinator who understands that bringing an aircraft in and sending it back out on time, safely, and smoothly is both an art and a science.
This isn't just a ground operations role—it's a central command position where you'll be the critical link between the flight deck, ground teams, and our Operations Control Centre. When you're on duty, you own the turnaround process from wheels-on to wheels-off.
What You'll Be Doing?
- Lead the Turnaround: Coordinate every aspect of aircraft arrival to departure, ensuring strict safety and on-time performance.
- Be the Communication Hub: Act as the single point of contact between pilots, passenger services, ramp teams, cleaning, catering, and engineering.
- Monitor & Record: Track key turnaround milestones like fueling, loading, cleaning, and boarding to keep everything on schedule.
- Handle Load Control: When allocated, prepare Load Sheets, Load & Trim Sheets, and ensure accurate weight and balance distribution.
- Safety First: Ensure all ground service equipment is properly positioned and removed, and manage special loads or last-minute changes.
- Drive Improvement: Report irregularities and help refine our processes for even better performance.
Are You the Right Fit?
We're looking for someone who brings:
- A diploma or bachelor's degree in Aviation, Airport Operations, or a related field
- At least 5 years in ground operations, with minimum 2 years specifically in Load Control or Turnaround Coordination
- Proven experience as a Load Controller with solid aircraft weight & balance knowledge
- Strong coordination skills and the ability to communicate clearly under pressure
- Preferred certifications in Ramp Safety, Load Control, Human Factors, and Dangerous Goods Regulations
- Good understanding of IATA AHM/IGOM standards and SMS principles
